About the Project

The recently completed MetaRock Laboratories project consisted of a 53,000 square foot building which serves as MetaRock’s separate standalone facility for SEPCo (Shell Exploration & Production Company).

The first floor of the building houses state-of-the-art petrophysical laboratories for the mining and offshore petroleum industry, including Petrology & Geology laboratories, EPSLOG-Core DNA laboratories, Geomechanics Log Analysis laboratories, and the Fluids & EOR laboratories.

The facility also has 8,200 square feet of negative 20-degree freezers compartmentalized with N+2 redundancy along with another 2,000 square feet of 35-degree coolers. Additionally, the facility hosts a full-size, medical grade CT and micro CT suite, core storage, rock shop, and warehouse space.

The second floor consists of executive offices, restrooms, a large conference center, and breakroom.
