About the Project

Humble Independent School District began over 100 years ago as a one-room school house with twelve students, a teacher and a four-month school term. It has grown to become nationally recognized for the outstanding education it offers to students and is listed among the 25 fastest growing school districts in Texas. The 113,000-square-foot Atascocita Elementary School includes educational and administrative spaces to support the growing Humble, Texas community. The campus includes a multi-purpose gymnasium with a stage, cafeteria, and student library. The award-winning school holds Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification and is a TX-CHPS Verified school.
