About the Project

This 9.3 Acres project is located West of the newly constructed Land Bridge and South of the existing Running Trails Center. The project includes a 5 lane running track built to NCAA specifications with a preserved forest inside and outside the track; a restroom/storage facility for public use as well as the for the park’s maintenance staff convenience; a concessions building to host/cater events featuring a gable roof that cantilevers 28’ over the patio; and a tent/event garden featuring a sand blasted concrete display of Buffalo Bayou on the slab. The project has landscaping throughout, consisting of strictly native and indigenous plants unique to our area and natural environment.
