About the Project

Build out of approximately 25,500 square feet of shell space on the 8th and 9th floor of the Health and Biomedical Science Building 2, which Tellepsen completed in late 2017. The space serves as an interim home for the newly chartered Medical School at the University of Houston until their new building is completed in several years. The Interim project was turned over in two phases; the first phase was completed October 2019 with the second phase completing January 2020. The project included classrooms, mock exam rooms and instruction laboratories, faculty offices, student lounge, study spaces, and a gross anatomy laboratory.
