About the Project

Founded in 1927, Second Baptist Church has made a significant impact on families throughout Greater Houston for over 85 years. Since its inception, the church has made it a priority to be a major contributor to the spiritual health and faith of people across the entire world. As the largest Baptist church in the United States, their ever-expanding ministry and explosive growth has given Second Baptist Church influence around the globe. Tellepsen has had the privilege of partnering with Second Baptist on several building projects that are a part of their continued expansion, including the preconstruction and construction services for complete renovations of their 5,500 seat worship center on the church’s main campus. The ministry of Second Baptist Church and the success of projects like this has allowed for continued expansion around the Greater Houston Area.
